SUMMARY:Facing the Fear of Rejection
DESCRIPTION:As gay men\, many of us learned early what it feels like to be 
 rejected by family\, peers\, culture\, or the dating world. That early wou
 nding can quietly shape how we show up in love: people-pleasing\, overperf
 orming\, numbing out\, avoiding vulnerability\, or chasing unavailable par
 tners.\n\nIn this connection circle\, we’ll courageously explore our fea
 r of rejection and how it impacts our intimacy\, self-expression\, and sen
 se of worth. Through honest sharing in a supportive space\, you’ll be in
 vited to soften shame\, build emotional resilience\, and reconnect with yo
 ur inherent worth\, independent of who chooses you.\n\nOverview\n\n>Gay Me
 n’s Brotherhood Connection Circles are for gay men wanting a safe place 
 to converse and share personal experiences.\n\n\nConnect directly with oth
 er members of the community in a small\, intimate virtual setting.\n\nThe 
 Connection Circles will foster conversation\, collaboration and support 
 from your fellow brothers. Our intention for this offering is to create a 
 safe space where we can get to know one another more intimately and allevi
 ate the loneliness and disconnection we see so much in ourselves and our c
 ommunity.\n\nHere's how the connection circles will work:\n\nWe will gathe
 r in one large group and the facilitator will review ground rules and offe
 r a topic with some discussion questions. We will then break off into smal
 l pods of 3 where you can share personal experiences\, insights\, ask ques
 tions\, or provide support to others - just like we do on the Gay Men Goi
 ng Deeper podcast!\n\nThis is perfect for those of you who are too shy to 
 speak up in the large groups during our sharing circles. Smaller groups al
 low for people to take the time to get to know one another where friendshi
 ps can form. This is also a great opportunity to connect with people that
  you might not otherwise connect with because the pods will be assigned r
 andomly.\n\nUnlike our Sharing Circles\, there is an expectation to share 
 at this event in the small pods.\n\nLooking forward to seeing you there
